ROBERTO BIANCHI, graduated to the academy of the Belle Arti "G. B. Cignaroli", live and work in Villafranca near Verona Italy. In 1974 it enrols him in the “Photographic Circle Veronese” and participates in numerous photographic contests getting flattering affirmations that impose him as one of the best Italian photographer in B&N field. In 1996 the "Photo Museum" of Zarautz (Spain) acquires his work “Segni di sabbia” and it realizes, for the municipality of Egna (BZ), a reportage on the “Festa del Ringraziamento”. In 1997, together with other FIAF authors, it was awarded with the Cup of the World for the B&N photography in Shenzhen (China). It exposes his imagines together with Mario Giacomelli and the Scuola Marchigiana in a collective exhibition in Schio and in Brescia in Ken Damy Museum. In 1999 Agfa invites him to expose his works in Milano and becomes testimonial of their products for the B&N. Polyphoto, Leica distributor in Italy, invites him to expose his photos in the Leica show-room; at the same time one portfolio was published on the "Leica Magazine" and it enters in to the prestigious "Gruppo Fotografico Leica" beside authors as G. Berengo Gardin, Vanni Calanca, Piergiorgio Branzi, Luis Castaneda and others. Roberto Bianchi photos have been exposed during Photokina, together with the G. F. Leica in the Italian Institute of Culture in Colony. In 2002 it wins the prize for the best portfolio in Pieve di Soligo with "Acquarius", a search on the fishes in the aquarium; the original portfolio was in B&N and then treated with colored anilines according to the ancient technique of the manual colouring. Besides the activity of photographer, Bianchi holds courses of photo in B&N; alternate to the activity of fine art printing. It uses Leica M7 camera equipped with original lenses and in the darkroom, exclusively Agfa products.
